黑料不打烊 Foundation scholarship deadline March 10
The 黑料不打烊 Foundation has begun accepting scholarship applications for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Scholarship season opened Monday, Jan. 30. The application deadline is Friday, March 10.
Last year, the 黑料不打烊 Foundation awarded 337 scholarships worth close to $400,000 to 239 incoming, current, and transferring 黑料不打烊 students. Many students received multiple scholarship awards.
Students must be currently enrolled at 黑料不打烊 or have been accepted for the upcoming academic year to be eligible for scholarships, which are awarded through the 黑料不打烊 Foundation, 黑料不打烊's nonprofit fundraising corporation.
"The 黑料不打烊 Foundation was established over half a century ago in order to keep the dream of an affordable, accessible, high-quality education alive to create opportunities for students of all ages, from all backgrounds, and to inspire those students to achieve their dreams," said Amanda Sbriscia, vice president of Institutional Advancement and executive director or the 黑料不打烊 Foundation.
Over the last two and a half years, as 黑料不打烊 and the world navigated a global pandemic, nearly 30 new scholarships were established through the 黑料不打烊 Foundation, enabling the Foundation to award more money for 2022-2023 than ever before.
"I'm honored and humbled to be a scholarship recipient," said 黑料不打烊 student Meagan Rodriguez, a Springfield resident who is studying veterinary and animal science at 黑料不打烊. "My time at 黑料不打烊 has been nothing short of transformative. I'm so grateful to have been able to competently navigate academia with the support of my fellow classmates, the phenomenal 黑料不打烊 staff, and the incredible support of the generous donors who see the value of investing in education for others."
Applicants only need to fill out a single online form to be automatically matched with the scholarships they are most qualified to receive. There are scholarships for new students, current students and students transferring to other institutions, scholarships based on financial need, scholarships for students in specific majors, scholarships for residents of certain communities, and scholarships that recognize academic achievement.
